Disease Registry - STC offers a web-based disease system with successful real-world deployment history. The system is based upon the CDC NEDSS Logical Data Module (LDM) and can be used to report diseases to both federal and local agencies. The application is designed to be an integral component of a statewide disease, bioterrorism, and emergency preparedness system.

The ability to combine laboratory reports with the disease report is made possible by utilizing a state-of-the-art duplicated identification process. GIS technology is embedded in the program, allowing geocoding specific to individual client needs.

STC’s Disease Surveillance & Management System is HIPAA compliant, providing a secure environment for reporting and analysis. This centralized system has an integrated data repository (IDR) that allows for reporting of over 80 communicable diseases using standard data servers. Legacy data import, electronic laboratory reporting (ELR), event and patient deduplication, disease-specific PDF forms, and the ability to create case assignment rules are inherent in the system.
