STC’s pandemic influenza tabletop exercises allow organizations to
identify, simulate, and assess response roles and responsibilities in order to
minimize the human and economic consequences of an outbreak.
Beneficial to:
- School systems
- Public health organizations
- Jails and Prisons
- Critical Infrastructure
STC’s experienced staff collaborates with organizations to review existing
response plans and/or create new plans based on the specific needs of the
client. Staff then assesses the response plan for feasibility and possible
areas of confusion. Next, an exercise is developed and enacted to simulate an
actual emergency response situation. The client is walked through different
scenarios and roles and responsibilities are assigned. Finally, information
technology tools are supplied to help the client prepare other employees and to
supply resources necessary to respond to an outbreak.
STC can also assist with developing an agency’s capacity to create and
deliver exercises and training independently, in order to ensure that response
plans and procedures continue to mature and are frequently tested and
revised.
